We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven QC Laboratory Technician to ensure everything that enters and leaves our site meets the highest standards.
You’ll play a critical role in keeping operations safe, compliant, and running like clockwork.

Commutable from Wigan, Bolton, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Leigh, Skelmersdale, Eccleston, Ormskirk, St Helen's and Newton-le-Willows
Duties
- * Drive timely product testing across in-process and final specifications
- * Prepare and manage pre-shipment samples with accurate documentation
- * Test incoming raw materials to maintain quality from the start
- * Support R&D and development projects when required
- * Maintain and follow equipment calibration schedules
- * Deliver training on test methods to operators and team members
- * Provide clear process adjustment instructions to production teams
- * Complete inspections, testing, and quality documentation efficiently
- * Identify non-conforming materials/processes and take corrective action
- * Escalate issues promptly to the Senior QC Chemist or QC Manager
- * Support specification and process changes when required
- * Investigate and respond to customer complaints and process failures
- * Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented quickly
Requirements
- * Qualification in Chemistry
- * Calibration experience
- * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- * Confident communicator who can liaise across teams
- * Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
- * Experience in a QC or laboratory environment
