We are seeking a TOOLMAKER / JIG AND FIXTURE MAKER, to strengthen the Toolroom.

We are a long-established manufacturing organisation, supplying into a broad range of different industry sectors, such as agriculture, construction, defence, medical and education to name but a few.

As our Toolmaker / Jig and Fixture Maker, you will be joining a friendly team, repairing and manufacturing tools, dies and fixtures.

Commute from: Worcester, Hereford, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Tewkesbury, Droitwich, Bromyard, Evesham, Redditch, Cheltenham and Ledbury.

Duties

  • Manufacture, and repair tools, dies, and fixtures
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Operate lathes, milling and grinding machines
  • Work with the engineering team to optimise tool designs, to make the parts faster

Requirements

  • Proven experience of producing Jigs and Fixtures
  • Must have gained this experience from a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Understanding of machining processes
  • Happy to work a day role
