We are seeking to recruit a proven Project Engineer to join a busy, fast‑paced manufacturing plant that supplies globally. You will join the current team of two to lead all phases of project management for a particular product at the site. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive projects from initial concept, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives. This role is central to delivering high‑impact projects that drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:
To be successful you must be a Mechanical or Electrical specialist with a hands‑on skilled background in either discipline. A time‑served engineer with experience in a production facility environment (apprenticeship minimum) having achieved a mechanical/electrical engineering‑focused qualification is required.
Responsibilities:
- Managing projects through 5 phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, closure.
- Contractor management
- Demonstrated project management ability with a proven track record of delivering projects through structured phases.
- Competency in managing priorities, timelines, and budgets independently.
- Continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking ways to optimise and innovate, being proactive.
- Digital proficiency, with experience using MS Office, CMMS, AutoCAD, and project management software.
