Press Brake Setter / Operator (Night Shift)
Hours: Nights 10:00pm – 06:00am or Days/Noons 06:00am-14:00pm / 14:00pm-22:00pm
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000pa + £21 per night shift allowance
Location: Nottingham & commutable from Derby, Leicester, Mansfield

Paid breaks (15 + 30 minutes every shift)
1.5x overtime rate
Responsibilities
- Set and operate press brake machines to fold a variety of materials and thicknesses
- Work from technical drawings
- Handle both offline and online programs
- Use knowledge of tooling types and sizes to ensure precision and efficiency
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multiskilled team environment
Qualifications / Requirements
- Right to live and work in the UK
Candidate Specification
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar with steelwork fabrication background
- AutoCAD experience preferred, Solidworks not essential
- Strong communication and customer relation skills
- Experience with conveyor systems is an advantage
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and proactive attitude
- Proficient in maths and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of air movement systems a plus
- Risk assessment and method statement writing competency
