The Maintenance Electrician will be joining a well-established maintenance team.

The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from the following locations: Hyde, Denton, Manchester, Oldham, Middleton.

The Maintenance Electrician will work the following shifts: Rotating – 6am–2pm & 2pm–10pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
  • Respond to and diagnose breakdowns quickly and effectively
  • Perform electrical fault-finding and repair across a variety of textile machinery
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and engineering teams
  • Support continuous improvement projects and process efficiency initiatives
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Experience:

  • We are looking for an apprentice trained Maintenance Electrician
  • Qualified to a Level 3 in electrical engineering
  • Ideally coming from a manufacturing/textiles environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding abilities
  • Experienced with textiles equipment
