A massive opportunity for a junior Electrical Engineer to join a global company based in Kidderminster. With an annual turnover of £3.5 billion, my client is the world market leader in its sector. They have over 200 plants worldwide in over 30 countries, including 16 in the UK. My client is looking for an Engineer who may have finished their electrical qualifications and is seeking to develop their career. You will work on a 4 on / 4 off continental shift at one of their major UK sites. The company offers training to become a fully qualified maintenance electrician, including PLC programming courses and mentorship from experienced engineers. Junior Electrical Engineer Duties:

  • Work on a 4 on / 4 off continental shift pattern
  • Install and maintain plant machinery
  • Implement preventative electrical maintenance systems
  • Fault find and repair electrical and electro-mechanical issues
  • Maintain plant and machinery in good condition
  • Program Siemens and other PLC equipment
  • Assist with installation of new plant equipment

Junior Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Electrical qualification or training
  • 18th edition wiring regulations (advantageous)
  • Experience in manufacturing or facilities management
