New exciting opportunity to join a global Manufacturing organisation based in the Greater Manchester Area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established maintenance team.
The Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from Warrington, Skelmersdale, Bolton, and Wigan.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – 2 x 12 hr days & 2 x 12 hr nights, with 5 fixed 18-day breaks.

Responsibilities and Experience:
- Maintain and install all mechanical plant & machinery per company requirements.
- React quickly to diagnose & repair mechanical problems on plant or equipment.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment.
- Ensure all plant and machinery are in safe, good, and clean condition.
- Complete relevant paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and repairs as needed.
- Report equipment issues immediately to the Engineering Team Leader.
- Adhere to Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Complete maintenance work orders using a CMMS system like Agility.
- Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of high-pressure steam boilers and systems.
- Welding skills: MMA, TIG, MIG.
- Ability to read schematic drawings.
- Multi-skilling is advantageous.
- Apprentice trained with HNC / City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
