Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for an apprentice-trained Maintenance Electrician, an opportunity to join a global manufacturing organisation based in the North West, not only an opportunity to join a leading organisation but to also join an already established friendly maintenance team.

The Maintenance Electrician position is commutable from the following locations: Rochdale / Oldham / Wigan / Blackburn / Bury

The Maintenance Electrician will be required to work the following shift: Days: 07:30am till 3:30pm

Benefits the Maintenance Electrician will receive:

  • Duties and requirements the Maintenance Electrician will hold and be responsible for:

  • Strong fault- finding abilities with Allen Bradley & Siemens S7 PLC’s
  • Experience with: Motors and Drives / Inverters / Single and 3 Phase systems.
  • Confident with both Hydraulics & Pneumatics / Bearings / Fluid systems / Steam systems / Press Machinery / Conveyor systems
  • Experienced with Motor testing.
  • We are ideally looking for the individual to hold a 60/40 Split – electrically biased.
  • Welding and machining experience would be at an advantage.
  • Previous experience within a Textiles / Manufacturing environment.
  • We are looking for an Apprentice trained engineer.
  • Holding a ONC / City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering
  • Also holding their 18th IEE Wiring regulations.
  • Flexibility is key as there will also be a call out Rota in place – rotating Weekly.
  • Please Note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
