This is a superb opportunity for a Calibration Engineer to join the team on a double day shift. The successful candidate will manage the calibration of all inspection equipment and the control of the issuance and receipts of all gauges.
Benefits for the role of Calibration Engineer:
- Salary depending on experience £31,000.
- Double day shift 0600-1400 Monday – Thursday and 0600-1230 Friday.
- Afternoons are 1400-2400 Monday- Wednesday and 1400-2230 Thursday with Fridays off on the Afternoons week.

Key Duties for the Calibration Engineer:
- To embrace all the Company’s core values.
- To have ownership and full accountability for all calibration.
- Have a good knowledge of all inspection processes.
- Have a good understanding of all inspection capabilities.
- To ensure all inspection equipment are fully up to date to comply with ISO 9001:2015.
- To work with the purchasing department to ensure all externally calibrated items are dealt with quickly, efficiently and within the financial budget.
- To raise and propose the purchase of new replacement inspection equipment when the current items are not fit for purpose.
Requirements of the Calibration Engineer:
- Minimum Engineering Apprentice trained NVQ3.
- Proficiency in using calibration equipment and understanding measurement standards is crucial.
- Experience in calibration labs, testing, or related sectors is highly valuable.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards ISO9001.
- Experience with calibration development tools and software is beneficial.
This role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Tamworth. Please Note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
