If so, this may be the role for you. We are currently recruiting for a leading specialist organisation based in the North-West, looking to strengthen their established Workshop team by recruiting an additional CNC Programmer.
Position Details
- Position: CNC Programmer / Production Engineer
- Shift: Days only, Monday to Friday – Early finish on Friday
- Benefits: 33 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking
This position is commutable from: Hyde, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Manchester, Altrincham, Stretford, Stockport.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience with Programming on MAZAK & FANUC Controls
- Fully trained with proven experience
- Experience generating and proving out programs on CNC Lathes and vertical milling machines
- Ability to set up, operate, mill, and turn, mainly using FANUC and Mazatrol Controls
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models
- Proven experience with programming MAZAK Integrex multi-axis turning centres
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen & 5S
- Ideally, the CNC Programmer will be Apprentice trained, holding a HND/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering
