Are you seeking a new opportunity within a busy & friendly environment? Are you a qualified CNC Programmer with proven experience programming FANUC and MAZATROL controls? If so, this may be the role for you. We are currently recruiting for a leading specialist organisation based in the North-West, looking to strengthen their established Workshop team by recruiting an additional CNC Programmer.

Position Details

  • Position: CNC Programmer / Production Engineer
  • Shift: Days only, Monday to Friday – Early finish on Friday
  • Benefits: 33 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking

This position is commutable from: Hyde, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Manchester, Altrincham, Stretford, Stockport.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience with Programming on MAZAK & FANUC Controls
  • Fully trained with proven experience
  • Experience generating and proving out programs on CNC Lathes and vertical milling machines
  • Ability to set up, operate, mill, and turn, mainly using FANUC and Mazatrol Controls
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models
  • Proven experience with programming MAZAK Integrex multi-axis turning centres
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen & 5S
  • Ideally, the CNC Programmer will be Apprentice trained, holding a HND/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering
