We’re on the lookout for an Apprentice-Trained Service Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join an established team. Based in Blackburn, you’ll travel to key customer sites across Bristol, Scunthorpe, Cumbria, and Leicester, providing top-tier service and support.
Location: Blackburn (with travel to Bristol, Scunthorpe, Cumbria & Leicester)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30am – 5:00pm (4-day working week!)
Benefits for the Service Engineer:
- Salary: Offer a Salary from £35,000 - £40,000

Experience & Requirements for the Service Engineer:
- Apprentice trained and qualified to Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
- Experience in sewage treatment, recycling plants, or heavy engineering environments is highly desirable
- Comfortable with UK-wide travel (Monday–Thursday)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service abilities
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment on customer sites
- Providing technical support and ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Working closely with site teams to ensure high standards are met.
