Salary: £26,000 - 30,000 per year
Requirements
- Self‑motivated, organised, detail‑oriented person with strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills, and strong technical knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and high level of commitment.
- At least 1 year experience at Tier 1 level.
- Skills in virtualisation, including Xen Server (XCP) and VMware.
- VoIP knowledge, including Asterisk/FreePBX, 3CX, and SIP.
- Experience with Office 365.
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing, NCE, and SPLA.
- Azure experience.
- Strong network design and diagnostics skills, including VPNs, VLANs, and Wi‑Fi.
- Commercial awareness.
- Hardware knowledge including WatchGuard, DrayTek, Dell servers and switches, Yealink, and Cisco.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to commute to our Huddersfield location or relocate before starting.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer questions and solve problems regarding product operation.
- Analyse problems and solutions and make recommendations for process improvement.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers.
- Work both as part of a team and independently.
- Perform testing procedures to determine the cause of problems and implement solutions.
- Train users on the proper operation of equipment.
