Responsibilities
- Read and understand new consultant/contract RFP documents.
- Support the proAV team with technical tender development.
- Attend internal and external meetings and interviews as required.
- Attend pre‑construction workshops and deliver workshop outputs back to proAV teams.
- Develop and submit technical submittals and manage them through to conclusion.
- Conduct internal meetings to deliver design requirements to colleagues/departments.
- Manage design queries from the proAV design department and coordinate external Q&A process.
- Review proAV drawings upon completion, manage changes, and ensure full accuracy before external submission.
- Manage design changes throughout the project life cycle, work closely with the consultant, run RFI/query process, deliver changes to the Design Department, and check drawing updates.
- Provide information about changes to the Sales Commercial Manager for VQ development and document all changes for O&M.
- Coordinate rack build and test processes with Production to meet the project programme; ensure the Programmer develops code per design and timeline.
- Oversee pre‑staging tests to ensure racks are complete; attend witness testing on site.
- Work with the appointed proAV AV/UC engineer to progress all requirements; track document production (HLDs and IT interface schedule); oversee associated proAV and client team activities.
- Attend on‑site for testing, commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with the Design department to develop and verify O&M documentation.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, 9 hours a day (8:30am-5:30pm) including an hour unpaid break, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications and Technical Knowledge
- Working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements, and installation (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, video conferencing).
- Technical knowledge of AV equipment, design concepts and solutions, including IT and networks.
- Understanding of client needs, room environments and use.
