About the Role:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and evolving the marketing function at proAV, driving brand positioning, demand generation, and sales enablement across the business. This role is responsible for developing a structured, insight-led and commercially aligned marketing function that drives growth, strengthens market positioning, and enhances the effectiveness of client engagement. Working closely with sales, business development, and senior leadership, the Marketing Manager ensures that marketing activity contributes meaningfully to business performance while aligning with and informing long-term strategic objectives. In addition to campaign delivery, the role is accountable for building the systems, processes, and marketing team capability required to support a scalable and high-performing marketing function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a structured marketing approach aligned to business growth objectives and priority sectors
  • Drive brand positioning and ensure consistency across all marketing activity and communications
  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, including website, SEO, email, and social
  • Responsible for proAV’s website, including performance optimisation, audience engagement, and overall digital visibility
  • Establish reporting frameworks to track performance and optimise marketing effectiveness
  • Work closely with sales, business development, and bid teams to support pipeline growth and conversion
  • Improve the quality, consistency, and accessibility of sales and marketing materials
  • Contribute to strategic bids and high-value opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with key technology partners, increasing the impact of joint marketing activity and MDF utilisation
  • Support marketing activity across proAV regions, including Ireland and Germany
  • Implement and develop marketing tools, platforms, and processes to improve efficiency, visibility, and performance
  • Manage external agencies and partners as required
  • Lead and develop a marketing team of four, improving output quality, capability, and overall effectiveness
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and ways of working to support a scalable marketing function

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in marketing management within a B2B or technology-led environment
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including website, SEO (+AEO & GEO), email, and content strategy
  • Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into clear, commercially focused messaging
  • Experience supporting sales teams with marketing materials, campaigns, and bid activity
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using marketing tools and platforms (e.g. analytics, CRM, SEO tools) to track performance and inform decisions
  • Confident stakeholder management, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Desirable:

  • Experience within the audio visual, workplace technology, or wider technology sector
  • Experience managing partner or channel marketing activity, including MDF-funded campaigns
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience working with external agencies and creative partners
  • Understanding of content management systems and structured content environments
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or oversight of creative production
