proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally. Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Junior Buyer to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV, taking full responsibility for purchasing goods and services to meet business and client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Junior Buyer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Purchasing Team Lead and wider team members
  • Manage Request for Quotation (RFQs), including cost analysis and supplier evaluation
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times
  • Draft and issue purchase orders within authorised limits
  • Manage purchase orders in SAP, from pricing and placement through to expediting and receipt
  • Select and evaluate business partners based on commercial, operational, and programme requirements
  • Review inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets with key project data, including lead times, due dates, and delivery status
  • Develop and manage procurement schedules to support project timelines
  • Communicate effectively across internal teams
