This well-established manufacturer seeks an experienced TIG Welder to join a highly skilled team producing precision components. Working with stainless steel, aluminium and aluminium bronze, delivering high-quality welded parts to strict engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIG weld stainless, aluminium and mild steel components
  • Set up and operate TIG welding equipment
  • Spot welding, brazing (silver & brass) and purge welding
  • Work from engineering drawings and to tight tolerances
  • Finish parts (grinding, fettling, deburring, polishing)
  • Inspect and measure components to specification
  • Log production data and follow Quality Management processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area

About you

  • Proven TIG welding experience (essential) – 5 years plus
  • Ability to work independently and read engineering drawings
  • Experience in a quality-focused manufacturing environment
  • Flexible approach to supporting wider workshop tasks
  • Previous welding experience gained in aluminium and stainless steel
  • Willing to work rotational shifts plus overtime
  • Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering education

A practical bench test will be completed at interview. Full training provided by experienced in-house welders. This role offers a range of excellent employee benefits.
