About the Role
This highly acclaimed manufacturer is looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer to support a highly automated, fast-moving manufacturing operation. You will be the go-to person for electrical, controls, and mechanical maintenance, ensuring production assets run safely, efficiently, and with maximum uptime. This role suits an engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys solving complex faults, and can deliver high-quality maintenance in a modern, technology-driven facility.
Working the Panama Shift
This position operates on a Panama shift, a rotating 12-hour pattern designed to provide full 24/7 coverage while giving engineers regular extended breaks. A typical Panama rotation includes:

- Assist with control system improvements, commissioning activities, and updating technical documentation.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce repeat failures and downtime.
- Keep CMMS records accurate and complete; follow LOTO, isolations, and all electrical safety protocols.
- Work closely with Production teams and oversee contractors when required.
