A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Internal Key Accounts Manager to join their highly successful team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an IT Sales or Technical Product Supply background who enjoys delivering high-quality technical solutions and building long-term customer relationships within the technology market.
Responsibilities
- Managing and nurturing long-term relationships with key account clients
- Understanding technical and IT-related requirements to recommend suitable solutions
- Providing accurate quotations, checking pricing and processing customer requests
- Managing inbound and outbound enquiries via telephone and email with professionalism, working closely with the sales management team
- Updating diaries, collating and updating communication across the wider business
- Working closely with technical delivery teams to keep customers informed of delivery and installation dates
- Liaising with finance, despatch and logistics to ensure seamless service and real-time customer updates
- Supporting the wider sales and operations management teams with any additional key projects
- Producing reports and communication for the wider management team
- Working daily with all MS software - Word, Excel Outlook, including SAP ERP system for all internal sales and customer activities
About You
- This role suits someone who is technically curious, commercially aware and thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment.
- 3-5 years previous experience in IT Sales, technical product supply, or a similar technical customer service role
- Previous key account management experience
- A passion for delivering high-quality technology solutions
- The ability to communicate clearly about technical requirements in a customer-friendly way
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook - SAP (disable)
- A proactive, sociable and professional approach
