Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects from initiation to completion
- Bring thought leadership and think outside the box in terms of setting project approach
- Experience on VMWare / Active Directory / Wintel
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders involved
- Stakeholder management – ensure expectations are clearly set and managed throughout the programme lifecycle (‘under‑promise’ and ‘over‑deliver’ approach)
- Chair meetings with cross‑supplier attendees with differing business agendas
- Manage both Fixed Price and T&M engagements without exposing Cognizant to commercial risk whilst maximizing revenue and margin
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience of managing Infrastructure projects
- Competent leader of Project resources (able to assimilate multiple work streams, identify common challenges/dependencies and advise on effective management approaches)
- Ability to manage large complex projects in multivendor environment
- Project cost estimation, budgeting and control
- Ability to foresee risk and manage them in advance
- RAID management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at different levels within client organization
- Ability to create a program roadmap
- Setting up PMO and reporting functions
- Hold a discussion with technical team and managers
- Running KPI based model with risk
- Credible and competent within senior management meetings (both internal & external)
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and its application to projects/programmes
- Experienced user of Microsoft Project Suite (specifically including Word, Excel & Microsoft Project)
