We’re ProAmpac Lincoln, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of flexible packaging, and we’re looking for a motivated Print Assistant to join our team. No experience? No problem – full training will be provided, including progression opportunities to become a qualified Flexographic Printer through the FIA Academy (CertFIA and DipFIA accreditation).
You’ll play a key role in supporting our flexographic printing presses, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support press operations: Assist with setup and preparation of flexographic printing presses, including loading plates, inks, and substrates.
- Material management: Stage and monitor materials; replenish inks as needed.
- Quality assurance: Check printed output for colour consistency, alignment, and quality; report issues promptly.
- Equipment maintenance: Clean and maintain press components and work areas.
- Production documentation: Record job details, production quantities, and waste metrics accurately.
- Safety & compliance: Follow all safety protocols and quality procedures.
We’re after someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. No prior experience is required – just a positive attitude and willingness to train.
