ProAmpac is seeking a UK based, talented, and flexible full stack developer to join our progressive and collaborative team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance a wide range of internal business systems, including internet/intranet applications and Azure based solutions. Our technology stack is primarily Microsoft focused, including Visual Studio, C#, and Microsoft SQL, with some work involving legacy platforms. We’re looking for a hands on problem solver who collaborates effectively, analyzes complex issues, and sees them through to resolution.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, maintain, and support .NET-based and Mongoose ERP applications that enable core business processes.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and other technical teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Participate in application enhancements, upgrades, and system integrations, ensuring stability and performance.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following established standards and best practices.
- Support application deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Hands on, solutions focused approach to problem solving.
What We're Looking For
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for applications and integrations.
- Ability to balance day to day support with longer term enhancement and improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in C# • Visual Studio • Knowledge of the Infor Mongoose platform a bonus.
- Familiarity with the .NET framework and .NET Core.
- Familiarity with MS Entity Framework.
- Skill for writing Restful Web API backend services.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
- Microsoft SQL Server MSSQL Ability to create and modify tables, stored procedures and views.
- Developing C# code that is clean, clear, and maintainable over time.
- Maintaining clear, consistent comments on code changes for team visibility.
- Understanding of git source code versioning tool and Azure DevOps.
- An understanding of VB6 a plus.
- Ability to operate independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- 4+ years of professional experience developing applications using .NET technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET).
- 4+ years of experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server, including writing and optimizing queries.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience supporting business systems or enterprise applications in a manufacturing or ERP environment (Infor Mongoose preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining aligned with team objectives.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and system integrations.
- Exposure to source control, structured release processes, and application lifecycle management tools.
- Experience working in a multi-site or global organization.
