We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Sales Team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and delivering excellent customer service.
The Role
- Maintain existing customer accounts, process orders, support the wider sales function, and help ensure a smooth day-to-day operation within the department.
- Provide support to the Internal Sales / Customer Service Supervisor and assist with mentoring and guidance across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers via telephone and email.
- Process sales orders, customer enquiries, complaints, and general administration tasks.
- Communicate sales opportunities to the Business Development Team.
- Liaise with internal departments including Product Control, Transport, Repro, Technical, and External Sales to meet customer requirements.
- Support the mentoring and training of new and existing team members.
- Assist with the smooth running of the department and deputise for the Supervisor when required.
- Monitor customer stock levels and help prevent shortages or redundant stock.
- Support continuous improvement of internal sales systems and procedures.
- Ensure company standards relating to Health & Safety, Quality, Hygiene, Environmental, and Equal Opportunities policies are maintained.
