Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Compliance Manager to begin work for a leading manufacturing business in Thame. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever-growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Quality Compliance Manager to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and exciting influx of work.
Overview of the role:
- Lead, maintain and continually improve the company's quality management system
- Ensure ongoing compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual quality requirements
- Act as main point of contact for regulatory and customer compliance (external) audits
- Lead and manage the internal audit programme, ensuring adherence to schedules and timely closure of audit findings
- Develop, implement and maintain quality management system documentation (procedures, works instructions, forms)
- Develop and deliver training to staff on internal quality processes, standards, and best practices
- Support supplier surveillance activities including postal and site audits to ensure supplier compliance to the company's requirements
- Manage the calibration process
- Communicate effectively & professionally with Customers, Suppliers & Colleagues.
Basic Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience within a manufacturing quality environment
- Strong working knowledge of AS/EN9100 requirements
- Experience or knowledge of National Aviation regulations (CAA/EASA Part 21)
- Trained/Qualified Auditor (Lead/Internal Auditor)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
- Team player, enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task & manage own time to meet required deadlines.
