Proactive Global is hiring for experienced Mechanical Assemblers/Fitters to join a leading manufacturing company based in Sunbury-upon-Thames, TW16 location.
Salary: £27-31k per annum
Shift Timings: Monday - Thursday- 7:30AM-4:00PM, Friday - 7:30AM-1:00PM
Responsibilities:
- To assemble and test the company's range of products in accordance with drawings, procedures and work instructions.
- To assist with maintaining and organising the production work area.
- To handle materials and kits in accordance with instructions.
- To assist with packing, labelling and despatch of materials as directed.
- To record changes required to drawings or parts list to enable production information to be corrected and maintained accurately.
- Responsible for good housekeeping in your own work area.
Technical spec:
- Experience with mechanical assembly OR mechanical curiosity and aptitude.
- Competent with hand tools - essential.
- Able to read engineering drawings, pneumatic circuit diagrams - desired.
- Lean 5S experience - desired.
