We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading international manufacturer based near Ashford, Kent. Maintenance Engineer Duties
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on production machinery
- Attending breakdowns in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair
- Using initiative to identify and solve engineering problems
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
Desired Skills & Experience
- Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG / high-speed packaging
- Hands‑on mechanical and/or electrical skills maintaining production machinery
- Ability to work independently on nights and as part of a small, close‑knit team
