We are currently looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to work in a manufacturing company based in Kempston.
Authorities and Responsibilities
- Maintain all health and safety disciplines
- Use of press breaks
- Comfortable with Spot Welding
- Maintain machines, tooling and good housekeeping at all times
- Organise area & tooling to maximise productivity
- Operate all plant equipment to procedure and health and safety guidelines
- Willingness to participate in improvement activities across the business
- Assist in problem solving when issues arise
- Must embrace change and be willing to adopt new skills to support all areas of the business
- To be flexible in a small team oriented environment
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Ability
- Previous experience in sheet metal and use of press machinery
- Proficient using measuring equipment
- Understand the importance of following process & standards
- Must possess a positive can do attitude
- Must have the ability to work without supervision
