Assembly Operative Required ASAP in Welham Green (Near Hatfield)
Rate: £12.80 - £14.34ph
Duration: Long-term, could lead to permanent work for the right candidates
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30 until 16.15, Friday 7.30 until 15.00
Main Responsibilities:
- Manufacture mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies and products following production SOP (standard operating procedures).
- Ability to work to set targets and demands.
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping.
- Operate machinery and equipment using PPE provided.
- Continuously monitor the production process, including visual inspection and functional test, to ensure product meets the agreed quality and safety standards.
- Adhere to production documentation and maintain records as required.
- Be self-motivated, using effective communication and work using own initiative or within a team.
- Liaise with Team Leaders/Manufacturing Manager to identify issues and opportunities for improvements.
Interested candidates must have previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and in the assembly of electro-mechanical components. Previous soldering experience would be advantageous.
