Position: Warehouse Operative W/ Forklift
Salary: £13.25 - £14.90 per hour
Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to begin work for a leading business in Milton Keynes. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever-growing order book, we are hoping to recruit at least one additional Warehouse Operative to help maintain quality and accuracy of the site’s function during this new influx of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking in of goods and materials
- Appropriately storing stock
- Picking and packing orders
- Document control – update and maintain all inbound and outbound records
- Forklift driving – loading & unloading of deliveries
- Participate in cycle counts and manage stock queries
- Identify stock that is in the wrong location and elevate as required to ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation
Key Skills / Experience
- Valid counterbalance license and reach truck licences
- Willingness to do manual warehouse related work (70% manual / 30% forklift)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work as a member of a small team
- Able to start work ASAP
