Panel Wirer Required to work for manufacturing company based in Woking, immediate start available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities of the role:
- Manufacture of control boxes and panels, wire assemblies in accordance with demand levels to suit Production and Spares requirements.
- Experience in the assembly and correct termination of cable looms and harnesses.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material and other written or pictorial instructions/procedures to accurately assemble products.
- Purchase Requisitions to enable the parts to be ordered in time and in the correct quantities.
- Ensure that goods received from suppliers correspond to those ordered and agreed with suppliers (correct parts, correct quantities, correct version status, correct labelling, and correct packaging).
- Escalate any supplier/subcontractor issues to the Cell leader/Supply Chain department as required.
- Support and maintain storage systems for parts required.
- Set up and maintain suitable tooling and production equipment for the production of Panels.
