Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
Proactive are currently recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Operative in Sudbury to start work immediately. This is a temporary ongoing position with the potential to become permanent, offering a great opportunity to join a busy and well‑established manufacturer producing high‑quality lighting products.
As an Electrical Assembly Operative, you'll be a key part of the production team, working with wiring, components, and hand tools in a clean and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Building and assembling light fittings and electrical components to required specifications
- Interpreting and working from wiring diagrams and assembly instructions
- Operating hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Completing basic wiring and component connections
- Performing visual inspections to ensure product quality standards are met
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and well‑organised
- Collaborating with the team to achieve daily production targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in electrical assembly or a production environment is advantageous
