We are currently looking for a Stores Controller to join a growing manufacturing business based in Slough. This is a hands‑on role within a small workshop‑based stores environment, where you will play a key role in implementing new stores processes and organising materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and manage incoming materials and deliveries.
- Log, identify, and locate all materials accurately within the stores area.
- Ensure all materials are stored correctly and maintained in designated locations.
- Pick and kit parts for production lines and customer orders.
- Transport materials between the warehouse and various locations across the site.
- Support production teams with ad‑hoc labouring and operational tasks as required.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing use of a tablet‑based MRP system.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Stores Controller, Stores Operative, Materials Handler, or similar role.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and stock control processes.
