We're hiring Maintenance Engineers to join the engineering team at a distribution warehouse in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly automated warehouse environment that powers one of the UK's leading retail distribution operations. You'll be working with advanced material handling and automation systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, motors, sensors, and control panels, ensuring the smooth operation of high-volume fulfilment centres.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reactive and preventative maintenance on automated warehouse equipment
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and control panels
  • Supporting system up-time in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • Working with engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Automation Engineer
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
  • Experience with conveyors, automated systems, or production machinery
  • NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualification
  • Comfortable working in a Panama shift-based environment
