Permanent full-time position supporting the Bugbrooke site.

You should have a recognised apprenticeship / BTEC / C & G / NVQ L3 qualifications, or significant experience in a similar industry.

  • Be used to servicing and repairing a diverse range of equipment.
  • Have excellent problem solving and fault analysis skills.
  • Fault finding and maintenance on:
    • Production machines and systems
    • Machine drive mechanisms
    • Plant services and facilities
  • Fully understand mechanical drawings and symbols.
  • Testing of plant services and site facilities; competent use of test and measurement equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Have experience of production plant systems including conveyors, elevators, grinders, weighing equipment, and a variety of rotating machinery.
  • Have experience of scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Preventative maintenance on:
    • Process systems
    • Safety systems
    • Site facilities
  • Distinct advantages:
    • Multi-skilled mechanically biased with electrical and pneumatics experience.
    • Previous experience of food industry plant machinery.

Hours: 07:30 - 17:30 with 1 hr lunch (7.5 hrs @ basic rate, 1.5 hrs @ 1.5 x basic rate).

Following a maximum 6 month satisfactory probationary period, all engineers are on-call via a rota system - with the option to work nights for the call-out week.

Do not apply unless you are able to work weekend overtime and call-out rotas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: £44,000 per year.
