Maintenance Engineer required to work for a manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes.

Job Purpose Summary

To provide tooling and maintenance support to the company's UK Facility. Production support when trained and assigned.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Complete weekly tasks for maintenance activities.
  • Work to keep track of the maintenance schedule, update and review preventative maintenance status.
  • Prioritise urgent maintenance requests within current workload.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks dependent on approved skill level.
  • Co-ordinate outside contractors (pending Operations Director's approval).
  • Working with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, you will cut and assemble production tooling: Jigs and fixtures, and hotwire tooling.
  • Test tooling and modify with Manufacturing Engineering support.
  • Highlight problem areas to management as required.
  • Support production when overloaded or low workload.

Job Requirements

Education Required - Maintenance/engineering discipline.

Experience - Ideally 3 years maintenance experience, but training can be given.
