We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass Planned Preventative Maintenance, swift resolution of system breakdowns, defect repairs, and the overall upkeep and optimization of our depot facilities and automation systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
  • Engage and manage external contractors.
  • Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours.
  • Assisting and managing the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for most of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Minimum recognised Level 2 electrical and mechanical qualification.
  • Experience working within a maintenance department.
  • Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
  • Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.

Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team.
