Intralogistics Solutions Architect – Tendering Competitive Salary + Bonus + Career Progression USA (Hybrid) Our client is a leading provider of automated intralogistics and material handling solutions, delivering complex warehouse automation projects across distribution, e-commerce, manufacturing and logistics environments.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Intralogistics Solutions Architect – Tendering to join their team.

This opportunity would suit a technically minded and commercially aware professional who enjoys solving complex automation challenges and wants to play a key role in developing innovative automated solutions for major customers.

The Role Reporting to the Tendering Manager, you will be responsible for developing technically robust, commercially competitive and operationally effective automated material handling solutions during the pre‑sales and tendering phase.

You will analyse customer requirements, develop system concepts, build project cost models and support proposal development, ensuring solutions are aligned with customer objectives and business goals.

Responsibilities Develop automated intralogistics solutions including AS/RS, conveyors, sortation systems, robotics, AGVs and AMRs.

Create layouts, material flow diagrams and functional descriptions to support customer proposals.

Perform system calculations, modelling and simulation to validate capacity and throughput assumptions.

Develop project cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments and technical proposal documentation.

Support customer presentations, design reviews and technical workshops.

Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project Delivery teams throughout the tendering process.

Support the successful handover of awarded projects into execution.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, material handling, applications engineering, estimating or solution design.

Experience designing or estimating automated material handling systems.

Proficiency with Auto CAD and engineering design tools.

Strong analytical and commercial skills with advanced Excel capability.

Experience developing cost estimates, scope documents and implementation plans.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel up to 25%.
