Position: Warehouse Operative

Salary: £12.21 - £13.68 per hour

Location: Kempston

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Kempston. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever-growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Warehouse Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and exciting influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

  • Booking in and out of goods/materials
  • Accurately packing and shipping of orders
  • Identifying stock that is in the wrong location and escaping as required to ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation
  • Picking items for production
  • Loading and unloading manually

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Previous warehousing experience preferably within manufacturing
  • Happy with physical/manual based work
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a member of a small team
  • Able to start work ASAP

Additional Info:

  • Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: ASAP following interview process
