The Role

Reporting to the Quality Director, the Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with AS9100 requirements, while driving quality assurance activities across the manufacturing environment. The role will support customer quality requirements, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and problem‑solving activities from production through to customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements
  • Prepare and coordinate internal audits, including NCR management and closure activities
  • Support customer and external audit requirements
  • Process supplier and customer returns for non-conforming products
  • Create, review and approve FAI, PPAP, 8D reports and quality permits
  • Identify and implement corrective and preventative actions across production processes
  • Carry out root cause investigations and support problem‑solving activities within manufacturing
  • Monitor internal failure trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure QA priorities are achieved to support on‑time delivery performance
  • Collate and analyse KPI and quality performance data for reporting to senior management
  • Communicate with customer quality representatives regarding complaints and investigations
  • Work collaboratively across departments to maintain high quality standards and operational performance
  • Support compliance with health and safety procedures and company standards

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working within an AS9100 or ISO9001 manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and audit processes
  • Experience with FAI, PPAP, 8D reporting and NCR management
  • Familiarity with calibration requirements within AS9100 standards
  • Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers and internal teams professionally
  • Lead Auditor qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Able to commute to the Aldershot (GU11) area

Working Hours

  • Full‑time, permanent position
  • Onsite role based in Aldershot (GU11)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible working hours may be required depending on business needs and customer requirements
