Proactive are currently in search of multiple CNC Miller Setter Operators for a world leading Aerospace and Automotive company based in Wickford. They are at the forefront of delivering the parts that matter to their customers. Through innovation and collaboration, they have put their customers ahead of the competition in the automotive and aerospace industry.
Job Focus: Your role as CNC Setter/Operator will involve Setting and Operating on CNC Milling Machines using Siemens or Fanuc. We are looking for people with past CNC Setter Operation experience and we will provide training for the right candidate if needed.
Key accountabilities:- Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines using Siemens and/or Fanuc controls.
- Working on the machining platforms, producing various components across all the major projects.
- Working to client Technical Instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high quality machining across a variety of different components and product families.
- The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
- Working within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.
- Previous CNC Milling experience (Setting and Operating on CNC Milling Machines).
- Past experience working with aerospace or automotive components would be preferred but not mandatory.
- Pro‑active and patient individual capable of managing your time effectively.
