We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support an 8-week automation installation project at Amazon DZM1. The successful candidate will supervise a team of approximately 9‑10 Electrical Fitters, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements. This is a site-based supervisory role requiring strong electrical installation knowledge and prior experience in automation or material handling environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 9‑10 Electrical Fitters
- Oversee electrical installation activities including containment, cabling, terminations, and associated automation systems
- Manage daily site activities, progress, and workforce coordination
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and installation standards
- Lead toolbox talks and enforce site safety requirements
- Coordinate with mechanical teams, project management, and client representatives
- Monitor quality, progress, and support issue resolution on site
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities as required
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor on automation installation projects
- Strong experience within conveyors, warehouse automation, or material handling systems
- Amazon project experience highly beneficial
- ECS (Electrical Safety Card) - Essential
- SSSTS - Essential
- Proven ability to lead electrical teams on live project sites
- Strong understanding of H&S compliance, RAMS, and permit systems
- Experience working in fast‑paced industrial or logistics environments
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred
- Recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / Apprenticeship / C&G in Electrical Installation or equivalent) - Essential
- JIB Gold Card advantageous
- IPAF or testing/commissioning qualifications beneficial
DESIRABLE
- Experience on Amazon fulfilment centre projects
- Experience working alongside automation integrators such as Körber Supply Chain
- Testing or commissioning support exposure
