Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Bedford | £55,000 | Panama Shift - Days & Nights
A Bedford-based process plant is looking for two multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join its engineering team.
This is a machinery-heavy manufacturing environment, suited to an engineer with strong fault-finding, breakdown and planned maintenance experience.
The role
- Reactive and planned maintenance across production machinery
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
- Supporting continuous improvement and site reliability
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime
What we're looking for
- Multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience
- Mechanical or electrical bias considered
- Background in manufacturing, processing, packaging, FMCG or another machinery-intensive environment
- Confident working on both breakdowns and preventative maintenance
Package
- Salary: circa £55,000
- Panama shift pattern, rotating days and nights:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
- Every other weekend off
