We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing client in Ilkeston to lead and manage a team of staff, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive leader with a strong background in manufacturing, who is comfortable maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of around 35 production staff
- Ensure daily and hourly production targets are consistently met
- Lead, motivate, and develop staff to maintain high performance standards
- Monitor productivity and drive operational efficiency
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and product quality
- Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and wider team
About You:
- Previous manufacturing experience is essential
- Experience within mattress, soft furnishings, or furniture manufacturing is advantageous
- Proven ability to lead and manage a large production team on a morning shift
- Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills
- Confident using computers with excellent communication skills
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a strong focus on quality and safety
