Role Overview
As a Mould Tool Setter / Process Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring moulding machines and associated equipment are set up and operating at optimum levels to maximise production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely set a variety of mould tools and ancillary equipment to the relevant moulding machines.
- Ensure all first-off inspections meet required quality standards before production commences.
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide practical guidance and training to Technicians, Operators, and Cell Leaders.
- Support engineering teams with mould tool trials and produce detailed trial reports within required timescales.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping, and compliance with documented procedures.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in mould tool setting and injection moulding processing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
- Working knowledge of robotics and gripper systems, ideally Fanuc or Staubli.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
