Shift Pattern: 6am-14pm / 14pm-22pm Monday – Friday, rotating shift

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in high-quality injection moulding solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mould Tool Setter / Process Technician to join their production team.

Role Overview

As a Mould Tool Setter / Process Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring moulding machines and associated equipment are set up and operating at optimum levels to maximise production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely set a variety of mould tools and ancillary equipment to the relevant moulding machines.
  • Ensure all first-off inspections meet required quality standards before production commences.
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide practical guidance and training to Technicians, Operators, and Cell Leaders.
  • Support engineering teams with mould tool trials and produce detailed trial reports within required timescales.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping, and compliance with documented procedures.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in mould tool setting and injection moulding processing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
  • Working knowledge of robotics and gripper systems, ideally Fanuc or Staubli.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
