Our client specialise in high-speed CNC machining of quality precision milled parts in aluminum, non-ferrous metal and plastic. Based in Stapleford Nottingham, Proactive Staff are looking for a great milling CNC machine setter to join their team.

What’s in it for you / Benefits:

  • £30K-£38.5K per annum (depending upon experience)
  • 7:30am – 16:30pm Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 12:30pm Friday
  • Immediate start
  • Successful placements will lead to a permanent contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and Setting multi axis CNC milling machines to produce components for Aerospace, rail and automotive sectors
  • Develop and write CNC programs using G-code, M-code, or CAM software.
  • Set machining parameters such as speeds, feeds, cutting depths, and tool paths.
  • Optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
  • Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous programming experience with CNC Machines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Fanuc
  • Proven track record of excellent attendance and reliability
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
