Proactive Staff are representing an established fire protection company, seeking an experienced ANSUL Fire Suppression Engineer to join their growing team. Covering Birmingham, this is a field-based role servicing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems for clients across hospitality, facilities management, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair ANSUL R-102 kitchen fire suppression systems
- Carry out system inspections and routine maintenance in accordance with industry standards
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on suppression equipment
- Complete installation and commissioning works where required
- Provide accurate service reports and documentation electronically
- Participate in a call-out rota to support emergency works both in and out of hours
Requirements
- Experience working with ANSUL or kitchen fire suppression systems
- CSCS or equivalent
- If applicable and subject to qualifications, service and install portable fire extinguishers to British and European standards
- Background in fire suppression, fire protection, or related field engineering roles
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
Location Coverage
This role will cover Birmingham and surrounding areas, with occasional travel. On rare occasions, the role may require lodging away for short periods.
