An environmental consultancy firm is looking for a Senior EIA Consultant to join the team. This position is based in Edinburgh and involves planning, completing and managing client relationships, development projects and staff, ensuring the delivery of projects to timescale and budget.
Key duties:
- Plan and manage projects to ensure delivery to timescale and budget; maintaining accurate project programmes and budgets.
- Effectively manage client expectations, being proactive and communicating with clients about project status and progress.
- Technically review information for completeness and accuracy.
- Complete technical studies (as relevant to experience).
- Input to financial budgets and resourcing, manage project costs and issue invoices.
- Input to and manage bids and tenders.
- Regularly review ongoing projects and potential projects.
- Attend site and supervise staff on site.
- Continually consider risks and liabilities, highlighting concerns to line management.
- Consider Health and Safety and minimise risks at all project stages.
- Maintain good relationships with clients.
- Identify new business relationships and opportunities and follow up.
- Contribute regularly to sales and marketing strategy and activity.
- Highlight and communicate potential issues to line managers and clients.
- Represent Atmos Consulting at internal and external events.
- Take responsibility for performance and delivery.
