Major Projects Pre-Construction Project Manager We are looking for a Major Projects Pre-Construction Project Manager to support throughout the Major Projects life cycle, leading co-ordination activities to drive efficiency prior to construction, acting as the main contact for key clients and internal stakeholders for all pre-construction activities. Major Projects Pre-Construction Project Manager duties: You\’ll be the first point of contact for project pre-construction enquiries (i.e. design) through all communication channels. You will review and maintain accurate and current pre-construction programs of work for the projects they support You\’ll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders and clients to support projects delivery to completion on time You will gather data through customers and site visits to ensure that the estimating and delivery team have the required pre-construction information You will be setting up and maintaining Project Communication System supplied by the Client/EPC Contractor and other parties, including internal distribution, archiving and storage of all incoming and outgoing correspondence/documentation. Major Projects Pre-Construction Project Manager requirements When you join us you will go through our top-notch induction and onboarding process, and have opportunities to develop further through our in house training academy. You\’ll have a proven track record of: Maintaining management tools such as Status Report and any other form of monitoring report required by Project Owner Partake in relevant meetings to gain understanding of support required for each project Support with the creation of pre-energisation documentation Providing routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level to enhance client experience Assist with various administrative functions in project development and design submission, payment stages, construction and operations The Major Projects Pre-Construction Project Manager will have experience and qualifications in: Working for an ICP or DNO at EHV voltage levels (33-132kV) Project Management, with a qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. Prince 2, APM, PMI) The use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc The use of MS Project or equivalent Project Management software Full UK driving license.
