Proactive Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift/Shunter Driver to join our client located in Irvine. This will be on a 4on/4off shift pattern, and this position will be on a temp to perm basis.
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Storing glass within the warehouse, using the client racking systems
- General warehouse duties
- Cover the shunter driver as well
What we can offer you:
- A shift pattern that fits in with your busy life
- Weekly pay (every Friday)
- A full-time contract after completing 40 shifts
Hours and Pay:
- Rolling 4on/4off (weekend inclusive) – 06:00 to 18:00
- Pay – £13.33 per hour
Candidate Requirements:
- Candidates should ideally live locally or have their own transport due to the hours and location of the role (especially working the weekend shifts).
- Candidates must have their own valid driver’s licence with NO CDs or DRs and must be physically fit as you will be on and off the wagons all day.
- If you don’t have your own Counterbalance Forklift Licence, in-house tickets are also considered.
Experience:
- Counter Balance: 1 year (preferred)
- Class 1: 1 year (preferred)
- Class 2: 1 year (preferred)
- Shunting: 1 year (preferred)
