Our client based in East Kilbride is looking to recruit an experienced Embroidery Operative on various shift patterns. You will be responsible for operating machinery, quality control, and communicating with warehouse and other team members.
Requirements
- Driven candidates with a willingness to learn and develop within the company.
- Previous experience in this position is required.
Shift patterns
- Mon to Fri - 22:00 to 06:00
- Sat and Sun - 08:00 to 17:00 (times are flexible) - this will eventually lead into a full-time Mon to Fri shift.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining machinery daily and keeping a record.
- Check off stock and prepare orders to go onto the machines ensuring it corresponds with internal paperwork.
- Setting up the machine with the correct threads and sampling.
- Preparing the frames to match the customers' specification.
- Trim and pack finished embroidered garments.
- Highlight any issues with stock shortages at the earliest opportunity.
- Manage any consumables required for producing garments.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Due to the location of the position, candidates must have their own transport.
